What I love most about my job…

I love getting to spend my days having fun with my class as I teach them about Jesus, help them build friendships, and watch them reach milestones. I love to watch their confidence grow throughout the school year as they become more independent in their daily routine. When the children come to school with a smile on their face, and they are excited to see their friends and me; I know I'm doing my job. I also feel like each year I learn just as much from my class as they learn from me.

I jump out of bed and come to work because I get to…

I try to really connect with my class on a friendly level. I look forward to hearing their stories and watching them learn. There isn't a day that goes by that the kids don't make me laugh and have fun.

My prayer each day…

I pray that my students will learn something new about the love of Jesus. I also pray that they always feel safe and secure in my classroom.

A little more about me:

I have been a part of the FLDS 3's program since 2016. When my husband's job moved us to this area, FLDS was the school we chose for our younger son. We loved the school, the teachers, and the families who attended with us. When he started elementary school, and I was ready to "go back to work," Ms. Ann was the first person I called. It's so amazing to see the path God lead me on that brought our family to FLDS. Prior to my preschool teaching life, I was an Executive Assistant at Boeing in St. Louis for 10 years. That was a fun career, but not nearly as fun as finger painting with 3-year-olds!
