What I love most about my job…

I love working with children. I enjoy watching them learn and grow. I love being able to share Jesus with the children. I love to see God's world through a child's eyes. I work with a wonderful group of people who love the Lord and children as much as I do.

I jump out of bed and come to work because I get to…

I love seeing the children's sweet smiling faces. I love the excitement and joy they have when they see what we have planned for the day. When a child makes a connection, it makes it all worth it. I call it "when the light bulb goes off". You can just see it on their face.

My prayer each day…

I pray that each child will know that Jesus loves them, and that I do too. I pray protection over them. I pray that they will feel safe and loved. I ask God to help me see their needs and to figure out ways to meet them. I

A little more about me:

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I have been teaching in Early Childhood Education for 36 years in some compacity. I have served in the children's ministry in several compacities at my own church. I have two adult children and five grandchildren. Three of the grandchildren have gone through the program at Faith Lutheran Day School. I enjoy coming along side of the children and helping them to become confident and strong in their belief and understanding that God loves them and has a plan for them. I hope to make learning fun.
