He is Risen! Spring is here! We will have the color purple and butterflies as our focal point for the month. We have a busy month with pizza day, chick-fil-a day, picture day and pony rides with pictures. We will have fit for faith, music and chapel as well. The children will continue to paint, stamp, glue and color. This will help with their small motor skills. They enjoy playing outside and with their friends. We will have many stories about spring and how God made it for us.

March is here! We will have fun with the color green and clover/shamrock shapes. We will explore and read many of Dr. Seuss' books in celebration of his birthday on March 2nd. We will also discuss Texas' independence which is March 2nd as well. We will have pizza day on March 2nd and Chick-fil-a on March 9th. Spring break is March 15-19th with a early release on Friday the 12th. GOD LOVES YOU AND HE CHOSE YOU along with JESUS SAVED THE WORLD will be the theme for chapel this month.

February is full of hearts. They enjoyed making a caterpillar out of hearts. They made Clifford using hearts for his face, mouth and ears. They painted their Valentine's bag with red and pink sponge hearts. For chapel, they are learning about how Jesus made friends. Fit for faith, they enjoy learning how to kick a ball into a net. Music, they are able to sing songs about animals. Valentine's day they will get to make and eat a special treat, pass out their valentine's cards and read stories. The color of the month is pink and the shape is hearts.

We are halfway through the month and December is almost here. The children are learning so much. They are enjoying learning new games in fit for faith and new songs in music. The children are getting ready for their Christmas play. We are discovering the color brown, leaves and turkeys. Happy Thanksgiving!

Fall is here and October is almost gone. We have had a busy month. The children have enjoyed the pumpkin fun day. They were able to explore new textures with rice, corn and pinecones. The pumpkin game day was a blast. They were delighted to learn new games such as the hula hoop toss and the egg run. We do have plans for a few more activities with pumpkins and the color orange. Looking forward to November!
